DESIGN, SUPPLY & INSTALLATION

design of fire sprinklers system

Design

The design of a sprinkler system is crucial to ensure the correct operation should it ever be needed.

Once we have suitable information about the building, the initial lead layout is designed to ensure compliance with the BS9251, manufacturer's recommendations and any other technical/guidance documents.

Pipework and Fittings

Whilst there is no such thing as a "typical" sprinkler installation we always use BLAZEMASTER CPVC pipe fittings. The pipework is then installed in accordance with the initial design, though this can vary depending upon the on-site conditions. All pipework and fittings are solvent welded to ensure a leak free connection. The pipework is then secured to the building in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Concealed sprinkler heads are utilised where ever possible, ensuring a neat and unobstructive installation.

Inspection & Testing

Inspection & Testing

Each system is visually inspected to ensure it is fully completed prior to pressure testing. Once the pressure test is complete, the system is then connected to the water supply. The water supply is usually supplied from the mains water or a pump and tank system.
